General Yard & Spreading Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking leader to join our team. The job role can be varied at times and ability to work longer hours at peak times of the year is important

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Management of workshop, general operatives and spreading teams, including time and performance monitoring, recruitment of seasonal staff, etc.

Organization of the purchase, hire & maintenance of machinery.

Close liaison with the H&S advisor and consultant to ensure full company compliance.

Good communication with other departments and with customers.

Scheduling of spreading work so that is carried out in a timely manner.

Clean driving license, previous agricultural experience and a professional attitude are essential.
