NIAB is a leading UK centre for plant science, crop evaluation and agronomy, delivering work from its regional network and headquarters in Cambridge. Our field crop research and impartial information is widely utilised by the agricultural community.

We are seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic person to join our field trials team based at our Headley Hall centre in North Yorkshire. The team is responsible for establishing, managing and harvesting a range of field trials, equipment maintenance and reporting results. This position is a permanent, full-time appointment.          

Applicants must have a good standard of secondary education and a full driving licence as travel is required to remote sites that are inaccessible to public transport. Tractor driving experience along with Pesticide application, forklift, ATV and workshop skills certificates are required for the job, training will be provided where necessary.

Starting salary is in the range of £19,626 to £25,896 pa, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications with the potential to progress to a position of Trials Manager upon completion of a formal training programme.
