To support their growth strategy of providing specialised cutting edge crop protection and biotech solutions to some of the UK’s top arable farmer producers, our client, UPL now requires a Strategic Account Manager UK, based at home to be responsible for the UK and Ireland future growth. Having a strong position in the Global Agribusiness sector UPL provide innovative products to all of their chosen business sectors as well as gaining a significant reputation for adding value to their customers businesses.

The Role

This senior position reports to the UK Commercial Manager and is a pivotal appointment for the success of the business. The primary focus of this exciting opportunity is managing and maximising the sales and margin of the total product range, as well as managing the routes to market including major distributor sales and merchant partners. Providing technical and sales support to the distributor teams will also be a key part of the role as will be delivering service support to the diverse customer base. The role also offers the opportunity to be totally responsible for the commercial performance of strategic accounts.

The Candidate

To be successful you will need to have the relevant sales experience and technical background gained in a relevant agribusiness as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop sales and margins across the customer base. This role would be ideal for someone who wishes to make their next career move into commercial  management.
