Research and Development Poultry Nutritionist- Homebased

This is a rare opportunity to join a renowned national company in the UK, this position is an initial 9-12 month maternity cover but there may be potential for a long term position for the right person.

This role is a critical position for my client, you need to be an experienced poultry nutritionist or veterinarian with a strong understanding of research and product development.

You will be an integral part of the poultry innovation team, working closely with the senior management and research teams to develop new products, technology and services. Our client are on the forefront of product development and you w ill be leading from the front in this area.

A typical week may involve...

• Team meetings.
• Project management, conducting research trials.
• Study/ trial design.
• Liaising with key stakeholders, simplifying detailed scientific research.
• Identifying the best science and technology for the market.

You will need to:

• An excellent communicator with team management skills.
• Hold a relevant qualification ideally at MSc and above.
• Self-motivated, this role will be homebased.
• Have excellent technical poultry knowledge.
• Have extensive project management experience.
