Livestock and Lowland Heath Manager
Experienced person required by family farm in East Suffolk.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to run our rare breed suckler herd and manage the maintenance and grazing of a large area of environmental grassland and lowland heath. We are looking for an organized and self-motivated person with good attention to detail. They should be happy working as part of a team and also independently. Previous experience with cattle handling is essential as well as tractor driving. Experience of working with sheep / goats would be beneficial.
You must have a full Driving License and Trailer Licence and be experienced in handling cattle. A knowledge of basic equipment maintenance, experience with sheep or goats, or a telehandler certificate would be advantageous but training can be arranged.
Competitive salary for the right person plus 4x4 and PPE. Some week-end working required.
