An exciting vacancy for a Livestock Procurement Fieldsman has arisen due to retirement and continued business expansion at Thame Farmers Auction Mart.

The role will be primarily working within the deadweight marketing department. Visiting farms liaising with producers and abattoirs in the procurement of finished cattle and sheep for multiple outlets and processors.

In addition, the successful applicant will be required to source livestock for the livestock market, assisting in the market on sale days and other business activities like Farm Sales.

Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential to build and maintain relations with existing and new customers. Applicants will need to have the ability to work in a fast- paced and at times pressurised environment. Previous experience with livestock is essential. A willingness to learn and succeed is imperative. A full UK driving licence is required.

A competitive remuneration package commensurate to experience will be offered.
