General Manager | Fresh Produce
Salary - £50K - potentially negotiable

If you have any desire to fulfil a highly varied Operations GM role for the one the UK's oldest and most established cooperatives…I would highly recommend applying!

About Our Client

As mentioned, they are one the country's first cooperatives, established a number of years ago by a group of very forward thinking and progressive group of growers. The product is not seasonal so they are busy all year around and supply some the UK's most popular supermarkets.

About the Job

This is a unique operations position; you will be essentially managing the whole operation of the cooperative from the main packhouse to looking after it's members, customers as well as the transport and logistics of collection from each grower.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have a strong operations background within a cooperative or PO but that isn't ultimately essential. We are looking to speak to any Senior Operations / Produciton professionals with a strong track record within the fresh produce sector. Strong communication and organisational skills are however an absolute must!!
