Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded Fresh produce business that supplies high quality vegetables and potatoes to retail, wholesale and food manufacturing customers. Due to their continued growth, we a looking for a Senior Agronomist to Lead the Agronomy team based near Lincoln.
The role
You will be responsible for the overall technical management of crops, along with providing field and storage advice to growers within the business. You will produce technical advice and a level of crop monitoring to growers on all aspects of growing and storing the crop. You will manage all Field records, audit documents and supplier packs. You will work closely with the Technical Director.
The Candidate
You will be BASIS qualified and have worked in an Agronomy role for more than 3 years. You will have an ability to work alongside and influence growers/farmers. You will have experience of managing people and helping them develop in their own career.
