If you have an animal science or agri based degree and are looking to gain experience in the swine sector, this role could be for you! You will be driven by data and science and will be passionate about getting some hands-on experience in this diverse industry. This is a fixed term position of 12-14months for maternity cover with the potential opportunity to stay on after the initial term for the right candidate.

Working alongside some of the industry's top research and development specialists, you will be coordinating research trials in pig and piglet feeding and nutrition. You will be implementing methodical research and collecting data ready to present your findings to the business; in doing so you will be working amongst a small team on the company's trial farm and fully supported in this important position.

About you:

  • Degree educated with practical farm experience.
  • Data driven, able to collect, collate and analyse data.
  • Interest in R&D and physically able to carry out manual tasks.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Confident around farm animals.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
