Seasonal Harvest Operator

We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join us for the 2021 harvest season. Main roles will include,

  • Corn Carting
  • Digestate Haulage
  • Secondary Cultivations
  • Maize Haulage

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety in their work and the opportunity to learn new skills and gain further responsibility. General tasks will include digestate haulage, silage carting, corn carting, machinery maintenance and general farm duties.

Our machinery includes new Case Puma’s and JCB Fastrac’s tractors (supported by the on-site Case Dealership) 18t Stewart trailers used for carting works.

We offer competitive rates of pay, and on-site accommodation is available free of charge.

The position will run from earlier July to the end of maize harvest, roughly end of September but dates can be flexible. A minimum of 1-year experience operating machinery is a necessity, as is a full driving license. Candidates must also be willing to work long hours, 7 days a week, during busy periods, being a reliable team player and possess a can-do attitude.

We are a friendly team, operating in North-East Kent. Current cropping extends to around 3000ha, and includes forage crops (grass, rye, triticale and maize) to provide feedstock for our Anaerobic Digestion Plants, as well as 1000ha of combinable crops (Wheat and Barley).

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in operating a range of up to date farm machinery and learn about the day to day running of a large-scale arable farm and Anaerobic Digestion Plant.

If this position interests you, please contact us at or to discuss further.
