Job Details
We are recruiting for an Indoor Pig Stockperson to join a unit in Lincolnshire (LN8).
The farm started a 600-sow unit and quickly expanded after an acquisition to provide B&B for breeding gilts, further increasing the farming enterprise to 1500 sows.
They are now looking for a new team member who can demonstrate a passion for the Pig Industry, a can-do attitude and skills in pig husbandry.
Job Description:
- General Pig Stockperson duties
- Working in a team of six
- Involved in all aspects of pig breeding
- Knowledge of machinery - Bobcat, JCB loader and tractor, a big advantage, although training can be given
Salary guide: £25,000 - £30,000 (d.o.e)
