JOB VACANCIES – TEMPORARY HARVEST POSITIONS
Dunecht Home Farms is seeking to fill positions for harvest 2021. The roles will require long hours when the weather is good, see details below
Grain Drier Operator/GFW
Operating an Alvan Blanch continuous flow grain drier and associated plant along with managing ingo and outgo with other general farm duties when required.
Applicants should have previous grain drying and storage experience with good attention to detail and accurate record keeping abilities. A tidy working ethos is a must as well as a
can-do attitude.
Forklift certificate required.
Starting end of July until the end of September.
GFW
Main role will be carting grain, straw handling and cultivations getting next year’s crop planted. Some experience is necessary, and a good understanding of machinery maintenance is desirable along with a forklift certificate.
May suit self-employed who is flexible and can be there when the sun is shining.
Starting end of July until the end of September.
Harvest Student
For the duration of harvest, a can-do attitude and tractor driving experience is required.
Shared accommodation is available for both positions, if required.
