About our Client

This leading business was formed in 2005 and over the past 15 years have gone from strength to strength. They operate across the whole of the UK and aim to be the first-choice partner for crop production and crop marketing. As a result of continued growth, they are looking for a trainee agronomist to join their team.

About the Role

As a trainee agronomist, you will be learning all the skills necessary to provide quality advice in all aspects of crop production to customers, including crop nutrition and crop protection advice. You will be crop walking and building relationships with customers and can advise and sell products as required. You will be liaising closely with colleagues to identify opportunities with new customers and develop relationships accordingly.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have a qualification in agriculture and experience in working in crop production. FACTS and/or BASIS would be ideal, although not essential. You will be a confident communicator and be able to speak to new and existing customers. You will be motivated to develop a longstanding career in agronomy.
