Farm Manager

A hugely exciting farm management role in a vertically integrated business near St Andrews.

Strathtyrum & Fossoway Farms is a forward thinking mixed farm covering 1,200 hectares of land over 4 holdings in north Fife and Kinross. Following the successful commencement of a transition into a regenerative and organic based business a working farm manager is required to lead the evolution and make the business an industry leader.

The position requires somebody with a passion for organic or non-conventional agriculture with a positive outlook and solution-based approach. The farm is in the process of organic conversion so a proven track record in organic agriculture and livestock management would be advantageous but is not essential.

The position offers a unique opportunity for somebody to lead a team enthusiastic to be at the forefront of progressive non-conventional mixed agriculture, selling directly to consumers via Balgove Larder Farm Shop.

The role requires somebody with the ability to balance financial, environmental and social profit whilst managing cashflow effectively.

A salary commensurate with the demands of the role and the experience of the successful applicant will be offered along with a recently renovated 4 bed farmhouse near St Andrews, contribution to council tax, a farm vehicle and generous holiday allowance.
