About our Client
Our client is an established Wholesale Nursery built up over the past 40 years. They started out with 50 acres of owned land which has now increased to over 400 acres, which includes cold storage facilities, a packhouse and two hectares of plants grown under protection. These include a range of bare root and container-grown trees and shrubs from seed including balled trees. They are currently seeking an experienced bare-root Production Manager to join their team, where you will play a vital role in the production of a wide range of plants.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the field production. You will ensure the team around you are motivated and working as efficiently as possible. You will support the dispatch team, and oversee the lifting and grading of plants, ensuring everything is done to the highest standard.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have good barefoot knowledge with previous growing experience on a commercial scale. The ability to manage and motivate the team around you is essential, as you will become an integral part of the business. PA2, PA6 and a forklift certificate are also desirable.
