National Account Manager for a leading Plant Protection Company

We are delighted to be working with one of the world’s leading crop protection companies which has enjoyed impressive growth in the last five years. An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager who will have the responsibility for the commercial management of nominated key accounts. This sought-after role will require candidates who have at least five years’ relevant industry experience and who are BASIS qualified.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and deliver a one year and three plan for each customer
  • Prepare an account plan for each customer that demonstrates understanding of the strategy, key influencers, competitor relationships and competitiveness within the market place
  • Effectively manage the product portfolio within the accounts
  • Work with technical and marketing teams to identify medium and long term technical opportunities
  • Form and sustain long term partnerships within each account

We are looking for candidates who have a track record of professional account management in the UK agrochemical or similar sector. They will need to be confident in presenting and negotiating with senior and technical audiences, be self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as a part of a wider team. The successful candidate will be diligent and hard working with a strong desire to succeed.

There is some flexibility on location as this is a home-based role. There is an attractive salary package and ongoing career progression.
