This new role will offer you the opportunity to work as part of a small but growing company, in a friendly and professional team, where you will be rewarded well, receive full training and have the opportunity to progress your career.  Hours of work will be Monday to Friday with no requirement for weekend working.

De Lacy Executive’s client is a well-established company who specialise in providing new, used and hire machinery to agricultural and horticultural customers.   This is a new position, created due to expansion.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical engineering backgrounds. Pneumatics and electrical experience, including 3 phase, single phase and low voltage will be advantageous and experience of fabrication will be helpful. You will be customer focused with the ability to provide technical advice, training, and product support.

Primary duties will involve maintaining, servicing, and rebuilding our client’s range of machinery both in the workshop and on site, working throughout England, Wales, and Scotland.   A full driving licence and a willingness to travel is essential and full product training will be provided.

Whilst working at the Depot in Warwickshire, you will also have responsibility for ensuring the workshop and stores are kept in order and assisting with re-ordering of parts etc.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering experience, ideally with an agricultural or horticultural background
  • Customer focused with good relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good numeracy skills
  • IT literacy
  • Driving Licence essential, B&E trailer category qualification will be advantageous
  • Trailer and forklift experience useful but training will be given
