About the Client

Our client, based in Bridlington, is a family owned independent business that is expanding their team and is now recruiting a Catering Manager to help assist the running of the coffee shop & on site restaurant.

About the Role

As Catering Manager, you will be an integral part of the store's management team and you will take responsibility for the running of the restuarant/coffee shop and delivering excellent standards and customer against budgeted sales and gross margin targets. You will be a hands-on leader - leading by example with experience in creating menu's, sourcing suppliers, general management and not shy of a challenge. You will be working closely with the owners to upkeep and develop the site, improving annual turnover and increasing footfall on site.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have restaurant or cafe manager experience with prior experience in managing a variety of teams. You will have an interest in garden centres/ the horticulture background, with a passion for independent businesses. The preferential candidate will hold a minimum of Level 2 in Food Hygiene and be used to a fast paced role and can be flexible to meet the Garden Centre's seasonal needs.
