Knowledge Exchange Manager for Cereals and Oilseeds - East Anglia

We are delighted to be working with AHDB to secure a Knowledge Exchange Manager for Cereals and Oilseeds based from home, operating across East Anglia. In this role the successful candidate will will initiate and deliver on a wide range of knowledge exchange activities, working with growers, agronomists and the wider industry. The KE Manager will need to be passionate about taking research back onto the farm in order to improve farm business yields, performance, sustainability and profitability. Using facilitation skills the successful candidate will encourage change, optimising agricultural systems and working with farmers on attention to detail on all aspects of their business to allow them to succeed both now and in the future.

We are looking for candidates with the following key skills and experience:

• Practical experience of facilitating and delivering KE activities at farmer meetings and high-profile conferences. Experience of developing innovative and effective KE approaches
• A skilled communicator able to speak with authority and write clearly and effectively 
• Will have relevant farming industry experience and can demonstrate detailed knowledge of farming 
• Preferably BASIS and FACTS qualified
• Can demonstrate a desire and willingness to actively develop own skills and knowledge
• Experience of working in a team, with the ability to work alone
• Results driven individual, with experience of achieving operational targets 
• Excellent project management capabilities 
• Confident to work with and lead industry partners
