An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced person to join the team looking after the award winning Lakedale Jersey herd and its progeny, based in Hampshire. 

The pedigree 280-cow herd calve all year round and are milked through a De Laval 28/28 parlour with feeders and auto shed.  Cows are mainly TMR fed and loose housed in a modern dairy complex, together with a complete range of excellent machinery to support the dairy. 

The person required will have a mainly milking role within the team, but also be able to operate the associated machinery.  It is envisaged the person will have had a minimum two years of experience in a similar role. 

We offer an excellent remuneration package with a 280-day contract giving 85-days off, together with a well-maintained three-bed D/G C/H semi-detached house, with a large enclosed garden, a short walk from the unit.  All amenities including schools are within a short distance of the farm.
