Broiler Farm Manager - Leicestershire

The enterprise compromises of 225,000 broilers housed in modern, quality units which you would be responsible for on a daily basis. This is a forward-thinking business which has made recent investments in the set up of the farm. My client is looking for a manager to successfully drive the business into the future.

Duties to include:

• Management of the full production cycle.
• Understand and operate under the targets of FCR.
• Effectively manage the team, compromising of assistant manager and apprentice.
• Comply with assurance schemes and paperwork management.
• Ensure bird welfare is maintained.

Required Skills:

• Proven management experience within the broiler sector.
• Hold a relevant NVQ 3 qualification.
• Commitment to the business.
