ARABLE OPERATOR

Sandringham Farm requires a skilled arable operator to join our team.  The farm is approximately 6000 acres of organic land, comprising of 4000 acres of arable and 2000 acres of temporary leys and permanent grass. The wider estate features forestry, game and public enterprises, offering a rich and varied work experience, but also requires consideration for and interaction with these areas.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in arable farming using modern machinery and techniques
• Have experience of drilling, ploughing, cultivating and combine driving
• Work effectively in a small team and be a team player both within the farm and wider Estate operations
• Be self motivated, organised and manage their own time when necessary
• Be hard working and flexible at peak times of the year.
• Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Hold a telehandler certificate

An extensive knowledge of Greenstar, an interest in organic farming and a willingness to learn and develop alongside an innovative system will be critical to succeeding in this role.
