We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Herdsperson to assist with the day to day running of the dairy unit at Home Farm. 

You’ll be working with 180 Organic Shorthorn cows, who are all year round calving and grazed on clover and diverse leys. Cows are milked through a 20:20 herringbone parlour with ACR, ADF, vented liners and feeders. Cows are cubicle and loose housed and fed by TMR.

All youngstock are reared on site for dairy replacements or beef. This varied role would include but is not limited to milking, yard work, feeding, herd health and fertility. AI and foot trimming skills would be advantageous as well as also, a passion for cows and someone who is eager to learn and develop in the dairy industry.

Set at the heart of the 12,000 acre Sussex estate, Goodwood Home Farm is one of the largest lowland organic farms in the UK.
