Our client

We are working exclusively with our client to find a quality and compliance manager in their business in Jersey where they grow, pack and supply fresh produce to a wide number of retailers in the UK.

The role

You will report to the Technical Director and they need the Quality and Compliance Manager to champion quality standards through the growing, harvesting and packing process, in order to achieve customer and business goals. This role includes ensuring all required systems are in place to consistently manage food safety, technical, quality standards and legal compliance of product. You will lead the site Quality Management Systems, manage all the internal audits and plan and manage NPD / EPD and trials process.

The candidate

We are looking for someone with proven and demonstrable experience as a technical or Quality Manager within a Fresh Produce environment. HACCP L3, Food Safety L3 is also required. This person will need experience of managing a team and have good communication skills.
