Environmental Consultant - South West England

This is your chance to work with a successful and well-known consultancy business covering the South West region of England. Your role as an Environmental Consultant provides an excellent opportunity if you have an interest in farming and have a strong environmental agricultural background.

You will be advising farmers in several areas including soil management, carbon credits, carbon footprint assessments, emissions as well as assisting with grant applications such as the Woodland Creation Scheme and the Environmental Land Management scheme. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop new business opportunities and build on their existing client base.

You will be well rewarded with excellent career development as well as personal growth as you are supported through significant training to ensure you're ready to lead in this field. I am looking for a for a driven and ambitious person who is passionate about farming, who enjoys being part of a dynamic team and strives to get results.

If you are passionate about helping our farmers ensure they are receiving the correct advice and support and are educated to degree level and have significant farming experience then this role is for you.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with farmers.
• Self-motivated, with good time management skills and ability to work as a team.
• Confident personality and enthusiastic with the ability to advise with empathy.
• A good understanding of IT programmes.
• Farming and agricultural employment experience.
• Have a full UK driving licence.
• FACTS desirable but not essential.
