WORKING FARM MANAGER
An exciting opportunity to manage a large farm comprising over 8000 acres of organic chalk grassland on the Salisbury Plain Military Training Area
The beef enterprise consists of an extensive suckler herd of 800 South Devon X cows and around 1,800 cattle in total.
The ideal candidate would be:
• An experienced and hands-on working farm manager
• Focused on beef production and grazing management
• Able to plan around military exercises & liaise 24/7 with military officials
• Experienced with raising, out-wintering and finishing cattle off pasture
• Passionate about rotational / planned holistic grazing
• Able to supervise, train and motivate up to 5 staff
