Description:
A livestock marketing Manager is wanted for a dynamic established North West based business operating in the calf, beef and dairy sectors. Candidates must have at least five years practical farm experience, preferably after completing a college or university qualification. Previous sales experience to livestock farmers or Livestock Marketing experience , however limited, is a definite plus for this role.
An in depth knowledge of the cattle sector and an understanding of the beef market is essential. Candidates will need to demonstrate drive, a strong work ethic, be self starting and be able to work autonomously. This successful livestock person will be able to show excellent communication skills and also have some “steel” in strength of character in handling negotiations with farmers.
Candidates will need to able to travel reasonable distances around the North of England and Scotland
This livestock marketing role will ideally suit someone passionate about calf rearing, beef growing and finishing and looking for a sales and marketing role in the agri-supply industry.
Location:
Home based in any area North of the M62 , or Scottish borders.
