WHAT’S THE JOB? TECHNICAL SPECIALIST – CROP SPRAYING TECHNOLOGY

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? Based at the Company’s Research Centre, fully equipped with state-of-the-art testing facilities and resources, the principal focus of the role will be to manage and support testing, installation, product improvement and customer technical issues relating to the Company’s innovative spray technology products


WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? 

  • You’ll have a recognised qualification in agricultural science, technology or engineering, ideally at degree level
  • You’ll have at least a couple of years’ professional career experience in agriculture – technical support, crop protection, crop sprayer technology etc
  • Experience in product installation and operator training / feedback would be useful
  • Practically minded, you’re familiar with the set-up, operation and function of agricultural crop spraying equipment, ideally with PA qualifications and NRoSO membership 
  • You’ll understand pest and disease control methods in a field environment with some basic crop science / crop trial knowledge a further advantage
  • You’ll be practically minded, work well in a collaborative small team environment and contribute positively to ideas generation sessions
  • A well-developed range of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills is essential; the role requires a high degree of self-motivation, organisational ability and time management skills
  • A good all-round standard of IT literacy is a given, including MS Office applications
  • Located in the Cotswolds, you will possess a full, clean UK driving licence
