To support their strong market leading position, we are delighted to be working with our Strategic Partner,  Wynnstay Group who now require a Regional Field Sales Manager to lead and manage the established Field Sales Team to achieve continued volume and profit growth and provide strategic and technical support to the  farmer customer base. As part of a financially strong, diverse group with a strong service capability Wynnstay supplies a wide range of quality feed products, grassland or arable inputs and services to farmers. Wynnstay offers its customers the complete agricultural product range and provides a consistent approach of improving farm performance.

The Role

This senior position reports to the Sales and Marketing Director and is a pivotal appointment for the success of the business. The primary focus of this exciting opportunity is on maximising the sales and driving the performance of the local sales team. The role also offers the opportunity to be totally responsible for the commercial performance of the region and developing the sales team’s capability through strong personal technical and professional support to the team and by utilising the capabilities of the wider internal product specialists. An important success factor in the role is a strong ability to coach the team and utilise the company’s extensive sales and marketing tracking systems to monitor trends and spot new potential opportunities.

The Candidate

To be successful you will need to have a professional sales management background or be ready to take your first step into sales and commercial management. Having relevant sales experience and technical background of Ruminant Nutrition and Forage management would be ideal however a strong agribusiness background will be acceptable for this important leadership role. Excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop sales and margins across the customer base will be critical to the successful candidate.  Welsh speaking would also be a distinct advantage.
