Due to retirement The Lexham Hall Estate in Norfolk is seeking a full-time office administrator for this diverse Mid-Norfolk family-owned agricultural estate. It is a varied and challenging role, working alongside family members and the wider estate team, and the successful candidate will be a core member of the team. The role is based at the Estate Office with some remote working possible. The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • IT literate (ideally with a knowledge of Farmplan and Microsoft
  • Good numeracy skills 
  • Experience of bookkeeping to Trial Balance and assisting with preparation of budgets and cash flows
  • Experience of routine VAT compliance administration
  • Experience of routine payroll administration
  • General administration and organisational skills, including a conscientious approach to maintaining records
  • Ability to multi-task and use own initiative
  • Personable, with excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with contractors and suppliers
  • Ability to liaise with professional advisers on special projects
  • Experience and understanding of Agriculture
  • Training available for relevant systems and procedures
