Job Details
We are recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for an indoor pig unit in North Yorkshire (YO18).
The family-run business focuses on breeding and finishing pigs alongside an arable farm.
The modern indoor specialist unit is slatted, accommodating 720 sows (breeding to finishing) using an automatic dry feeding system in all areas.
Person Specification:
- Pig Husbandry experience
- Must be confident with in-pig sows farrowing & weaning
- High welfare standards
- Good team-player qualities
Salary: £10.50 - £12.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours Guide:
Monday – Friday - 7.45 am – 5.00 pm (6.00 am start on Wednesdays) & weekend rota.
Accommodation is not available, so candidates need to be able to commute to YO18.
