Farm Manager

WR Logan is a major grower of fresh and pre-packed potatoes and vegetables along with a cereal enterprise based in East Lothian, Scotland. We currently have a hugely exciting opportunity for a Farm Manager to join our team at West Garleton, Haddington farming over 3000 acres.

We are a dynamic, customer focused business and our farm team plays a pivotal role in the successful operation of the business. These are exciting times at West Garleton and we need people who will make a difference and add value to our already strong and effective team. Leading by example and a role model for the business with staff, landlords, customers and other suppliers, this new opportunity will help lead the day-to-day farm team in all operations. from initial sowing and planting through to harvest and storage of Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Parsnips, Wheat and Barley.  Utilising farm management software tools, accurate record keeping and upholding farm compliance accreditations including Red Tractor and Leaf Marque will form part of the role.

The successful applicant will very much be a business head with a team player mentality, If you possess practical experience of cereal and/or potato and vegetable production, have excellent decision making and communication skills as well as strong organisational skills we would love to hear from you.
