Commercial Technical Managers – South of England and East Midlands

Our client is a UK subsidiary of a major global company which is a leading supplier of Crop Protection products, Adjuvants and Crop Nutrition products (including foliar micro and macro nutrients and plant biostimulants) to agricultural, horticultural and amenity sectors in the UK, as well as to overseas markets.

The Company’s portfolio includes a broad range of fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and PGRs as well as an exciting development pipeline of proprietary synthetic and biological crop protection products. It is also well known for their comprehensive range of high quality and widely accepted plant nutrition products.

In these home-based roles, the successful candidates will be able to provide a full range of technical and commercial support for the expanding product range. The Commercial Technical Managers will liaise with trials organisations, industry bodies and processors and have the ability to advise and influence distribution and independent agronomists, growers and commercial distributor staff.

Candidates should be educated to degree level and be BASIS qualified. Candidates will need to demonstrate a successful technical track record and achievements in crop production and crop protection coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Individuals will have the knowledge and confidence to provide comprehensive advice on a wide range of crops. In these multi-functional roles, the successful candidates will enjoy building strong relationships and long-term partnerships with the UK top agricultural suppliers and advisors.
