Assistant Farm Manager.

Cobrey Farms is a leading UK grower of asparagus, french beans, rhubarb, blueberries and other arable crops based in the Herefordshire Wye Valley. We have a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to assist with the growing of our vegetable crops.  

Working with the Farm Manager, this role will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to manage the day to day growing of the vegetable crops.  The role will involve walking crops, liaising with agronomists and working with our team to plan and action field operations to ensure they happen in a timely and cost-effective manner.  

This new and unique role will suit someone with a keen interest and passion for developing their knowledge of crop production and looking for the next step in their career. You will have the drive to look for and implement new ideas and innovations to improve the crop growth and margins, within a supportive and forward-thinking team.  

Previous experience in crop management is not essential, however we are looking for someone with some previous practical farming experience and the enthusiasm and motivation to learn and develop.
