Senior Pig Stockperson

We are recruiting for a Farrowing House Manager for an Indoor Pig Unit in Gloucestershire (GL3).

The unit is straw based with 380 sows - breeding through to finishing.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have 2+ years of experience in the Pig Industry.

Candidates must demonstrate:

• Good people management skills
• Good farrowing knowledge
• A high level of personal motivation
• The ability to work well within a small team
• High levels of animal welfare and production at all times

  Salary Guide: £28,000 - £33,000 DOE

The working week is typically 7 am to 4 pm approx., working every other weekend.

Housing is not available, so applicants need to be within the GL3 area.
