Senior Pig Stockperson

We are looking to recruit a Senior Indoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Co. Waterford, Ireland.

The fantastic new opportunity will see the successful candidate managing the Farrowing House.

The business is a third-generation family pig enterprise. The role will be based on an 850-sow unit, but there are two additional pig units (550 and 450 - all breeding to finishing) along with their own feed mill.

The successful candidate will be part of a very progressive team and be allowed to excel in their role with the guidance of their team leader.

Applicants must demonstrate:

• A good understanding of pig husbandry
• High welfare standards
• Can-do attitude & ability to work well with the team
• A good understanding of computer systems as all the recording is cloud-based

Salary: €30,000 – €40,000 doe per annum
