DESCRIPTION:
A commercial nutritionist is required for a GB Feed Manufacturing company with an enviable reputation for performance and an important level of customer service. The successful applicant will have a second nutrition animal science degree Ph.D./M.SC. but more importantly will be able to command the respect of poultry farmer customers as well as third party technical consultants acting on behalf of customers. This post requires an excellent poultry knowledge plus a good commercial outlook. The role will be responsible for supporting new business opportunities across the company's product range.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record in formulations, quality assurance in either an animal feed or supplement manufacturing environment where animal performance is paramount. A good understanding of feed legislation, poultry nutrition and feed production manufacturing are important along with the confidence and experience to support the commercial sales and marketing team with major customers.
The role will be responsible for maintaining an important level of technical support to existing customers and developing new business opportunities across the company's product range. The successful candidates will take charge of all poultry formulations for customers and as well as reporting nutrition staff.
Newly graduating poultry nutritionists with Ph.D./M.SC. will be considered for this position with training to take place in the first two years of employment.
