Our client, a global leader in dairy cow health, is seeking an Area Sales Manager well-versed in growing and managing a sales ledger in the agricultural sector. Whether you are directly involved in animal health currently, or from a livestock or nutrition background, you will deliver the full service in your territory, from cold leads right through to on farm installation. Full and in-depth product training will be supplied as well as monthly sales meetings with your UK colleagues.
Although you will be working remotely covering your territory, there is a strong team ethic supported by monthly catch-ups and socials including trips to the global headquarters of the business.
What your 'day-to-day' will look like:
- Generating new leads
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Negotiating all contracts
- Quotes and promotions
- On farm sales presentations
- On farm evaluations
- Maintaining client records via a CRM system
- Attending Shows and Exhibitions
