Job Details

A reputable and successful farming enterprise are looking to invest in the right person to join their ranks as a trainee farm manager. You will be joining a successful farm management team who can provide exemplary training and development over a two-year period.

Once fully trained, you will have the responsibility for the management of one of the arable farms. This business operates a unique management structure where you will work as part of a farm management team but ultimately are left with the autonomy to run the farm as your own business.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in operating machinery to include combines, sprayers and you will need a telescopic forklift license as well as a full UK license.
  • PA1 and PA2 are essential.
  • A good understanding of growing crops and basic agronomy.

The training programme will include:

  • FACTS and BASIS
  • Leadership qualification.
  • IOSH.
  • Extensive software and machinery changing.
  • Farm business management training,
  • Extensive ongoing development.

The package will include an attractive salary, company 4x4 and benefits package to include discounted rent.
