Due to our herdsman moving on after eleven very successful years, we have an exciting position for a capable herdsperson to take day-to-day responsibility for 240 cross bred, mainly autumn calving cows near Exeter. 

One of two similar sized units belonging to the same farmer (the other being spring calved) we require someone with experience looking for their next step in the industry.  Facilities include a 15/30 Westphalia parlour, cubicles and loose housing.   

Duties will include milking, foot trimming, record keeping, grazing management and herd health. In return we offer a competitive salary, regular time off and a 3-bedroom house on the farm and on the edge of the very pretty village of Thorverton which offers a primary school, post office and pubs. 

Exeter is around 5 miles distant.
