Commercial Technical Manager

Hunter Chase Consultants are delighted to be looking for a Commercial Technical Manager to join a successful, global manufacturing company in a home-based role. Our client is a leading supplier of Crop Protection products, Adjuvants and Crop Nutrition products to agricultural, horticultural and amenity sectors in the UK, as well as to overseas markets.

Job Specification: 

• This is a home based role, the primary function of which is to support the full growing UK business 
• Provide a full range of technical and commercial support for the expanding product range
• Liaise with trials organisations, industry bodies and processors
• Advise and influence distribution and independent agronomists, growers and commercial distributor staff
• Report to the UK Technical Leader

Requirements 

• Candidates will ideally be both BASIS qualified and educated to a degree level
• Demonstrate a successful technical track record and achievements in crop production and crop protection 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and confidence to provide comprehensive advice on a wide range of crops
• In this multi-functional role, the successful candidate will enjoy building strong relationships and long-term partnerships with the top UK agricultural suppliers and advisors.
