Hunter Chase Consultants are delighted to be looking for a Crop Nutrition Agronomist to join a well-established company in a home-based role. Our client is a market-leader in liquid fertilisers, manufacturing and exporting a unique range of plant nutrients and crop health promoters, nationally and internationally.

Job Specification:

  • This is a technical sales role, with the purpose of this position being to maximise sales of foliar products
  • Provide technical solutions to existing customers and develop new business opportunities
  • Prepare, agree and implement a coherent sales plan that will achieve growth and deliver exceptional customer services
  • To achieve annual revenue and gross profit targets
  • Develop close working relationships with distributor and independent agronomists
  • The ideal candidate will be expected to develop technical expertise in a particular crop sector, as well as expertise in particular product groups

Requirements:

  • Candidates will ideally be both BASIS and FACTS qualified
  • The ideal candidate will be resilient, highly motivated and disciplined. Time management and planning skills are paramount
  • Have the stature, technical authority, and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • The ideal candidate will have a sharp commercial awareness and good negotiation skills
  • Requirement of a current, clean driving licence

This is a remote home-based, mobile role. The ideal candidate would be based in the East Midlands/East Anglia.
