A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of a successful expanding dairy business near Skipton in North Yorkshire.

The farm has made significant investment over the past few years resulting in outstanding facilities and working environment for both staff and cow and now require a herdsman to help progress the business further. New cow housing has recently been built and there is a 25:50 parlour to milk the flying herd of 500 cows. Cows are milked two times per day and housed all year round.

The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who has extremely high standards, with a particular eye for attention to detail, able to think for themselves and be able to help to run all elements of a large, modern dairy herd. Someone who is a good decision maker and flexible enough to carry out a number of different roles on the farm is required for this role.
