Job Details

I am looking for an experienced brand manager that has the ability to oversee multiple product lines with outstanding reputations. My client owns several of the UK Equestrian's most prominent brands that are longstanding, trusted brands that have been producing leading products for both horse and rider since the 1980's. The brands keep growing from strength to strength, combining outstanding quality with excellent value.

These products range from horse and rider apparel to your tack room essentials in horse care, grooming and husbandry earning the trust and confidence of horse owners all over the world; from grassroots through to top level competition.

Due to growth and expansion, the role of brand manager has become available and will over see not only the marketing and social media of the brands, but also sales, account management, show stand design and management.

You'll have equestrian experience and understand what interests the target market. This will prominently be an office-based role alongside travel to visit customers directly. You'll also be responsible for web sales, B2B contact and attendance at shows whilst overseeing the brand as whole and reaching the forecast growth targets.

To be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years in a similar position with demonstrable examples of achievements.

 

Your Day To Day includes but is not limited to:

  • Preparation and implementation of an annual marketing strategy, with the inclusion of budget management, both online and offline for B2B and B2C.
  • Social Media management (content planning and creation, posting/scheduling, responding to messages/comments where applicable).
  • Writing and circulating press releases around new product launches, sponsorship etc. in relation to the Brand.
  • New product design and development.
  • Trade stand/sponsorship management to include staffing and full logistics.
  • Working on trade stands will be required (to include some weekends).

  • Highly organised and motivated.
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Be able to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent co-ordination and communication skills.
  • Sound equestrian knowledge.
