Experienced Agricultural Operators wanted for seasonal & full-time contracts
We are a reputable family run company who have been established for over 40 years in North Shropshire, specialising in Waste Management, Agricultural Contracting, Building Materials & Construction. We have an opening within the Agricultural team for a Full time permanent or Self-Employed Agricultural Operative. This position is available with an immediate start date.
Outline of the Role:
- As a Tractor Driver you will be required to undertake many tasks including, but not limited to; drilling, baling, pumping, trailering and hedge cutting,
- Ensure all machinery and implements used are in good working order and are safe to use.
- Provide agricultural advice to customers where your knowledge allows.
The Candidate:
You will be a confident individual capable of taking direction and working under pressure. Likewise, you will have an aptitude for problem solving. You will be passionate about your work and be driven to succeed in all tasks undertaken.
Experience/Skillset:
- A good working and mechanical knowledge of agricultural machinery and implements.
- GPS knowledge and understanding essential.
- Ability to work under own initiative and without supervision.
- Able to solve problems independently and with confidence.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Experience driving a Chopper or Combine desirable
