We are now offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Graduate Farm Trader or a Trainee Farm Trader to represent Wynnstay and join our Arable Division in the North Yorkshire area.
The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Trading arable products and purchasing grain to achieve or exceed predetermined targets relating to sales, volumes and margins
- Developing and generating arable business for Wynnstay, identifying leads or opportunities through calling campaigns and networking
- Building and maintaining constructive relationships through providing technical product support to arable customers
- Fully utilising the Sales support and CRM functions, to monitor customer and sales trends for determining key accounts and future sales strategies
- Producing weekly activity and sales reports to the Arable Sales Manager
The Person:
The successful candidate will:
- Have an understanding of the arable crop cycle, cereal seeds, fertiliser and grain trading (full training will be provided)
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a keen interest in sales and negotiating
- Be proficient in using IT systems
