We are looking for a stockperson to work in a self-relieving team of four led by the herd manager on a premier supermarket supplying unit near Marlborough. 
 

• 280 Holstein cows calve all year round
• TMR fed, cubicle housed, yield 9,500 litres 
• Milked through a modern milking and handling set up including a 20:40 Westphalia parlour with ADF, auto feeding and auto drafting
• Cows run in a freshly calved group to receive close attention, then high and low groups
• All replacements born and reared on the farm.

We require a Stockperson who can take a lead role with youngstock rearing and their daily care.  You will join in with the feeding, bedding, milking and livestock management duties.  Loader work (experience and certificate preferred if possible) is an important part of the job.  All of the team of four involved at the dairy undertake milking and you will have a share of milking duties, particularly when the herd manager and dedicated herdsperson are absent.
