An exciting opportunity to join the sustainability team of one of the UK’s leading advisers to the food farming and renewables sectors.  The role focuses  on the delivery of net zero, natural capital and food security with businesses in the UK and international food, energy  and landed sectors. Working with a combination of modern integrated food businesses, farming businesses, and landed estates, this role will be at the forefront of linking carbon and natural capital to actionable business strategies. As a new area of consultancy where many of the rules are still being set and the science is constantly evolving, this role will suit someone with an adaptive and client focussed mindset.

Chavereys has been delivering GHG consultancy services for the last two years and has partnered  with Imperial College to further support and enhance our technical capabilities. We are looking to complement the existing team with a highly motivated and client focussed consultant to drive delivery.

About Chavereys

Chavereys is a forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants and advisers based in the UK..

Since 2020 we have broadened our service offering to include carbon accounting and net-zero consultancy, and plan to expand into natural capital. Candidate profile

  • Demonstrable interest in sustainability and the landed sector
  • Post-graduate environmental / sustainability / engineering / agricultural qualification – or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience in GHG accounting is a bonus but can be trained on the job; candidates with more practical experience and knowledge of landed businesses (estate management, agri-business, agri-environmental schemes) are strongly encouraged to apply

  • Manage consulting mandates
  • Happy working independently (with support when necessary) and using your initiative to solve problems
  • UK based and with legal entitlement to work here
  • Good proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
