Conservation & Farm Manager
Salary: £24,000-£32,000, commensurate with experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Elan Estate Office, Elan Village, Rhayader, Powys, LD6 5HP
Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Conservation & Farm Manager, who can help the Trust adapt to changing agricultural practices and habitat/conservation management.
You will be responsible for the conservation outputs of the in-hand farms, including the everyday running of farm operations (7,000 acres, 2,000 ewes and 50 cattle) and working alongside the estate shepherds.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Confident in the management of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) which covers the majority of our land holdings
- An excellent communicator, with a positive attitude, able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a commitment to partnership working
- Qualified in farm management, conservation or land agency
- Motivated to further our objectives around carbon capture and conservation
