Our Depots in Calne, Stockton and Stafford have an opportunity for you to join their team as a motivated and experienced Depot Manager.

 

The Opportunity:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the existing customer base and establishing new contacts to drive sales
  • Meeting sales budgets by training, mentoring, motivating, and leading the team
  • Ensuring an exceptional level of customer service is always maintained
  • Ensuring the Depot is stocked adequately and is always presentable
  • Ensuring stock is managed effectively and to a high standard
  • Completing regular stocktakes accurately and within the specified timeframe
  • Ensuring your line manager is informed of any developments with the Depot and its activities
  • Conducting staff reviews to assess training needs and build career development paths
  • Comfortably dealing with issues which may arise with staff or customers
  • Taking responsibility for Health & Safety on site
  • Ensuring compliance with Wynnstay policies and procedures throughout Depot operations.
  • Communicating with key individuals within the division i.e. product specialists, marketing team, purchasing team, accounts team, IT

 

The Person:

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Have a good commercial awareness with an understanding of the agricultural sector
  • Be an effective leader and have the skills to motivate others
  • Be an organised individual with good planning skills
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Be resourceful in solving problems
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Have experience with computers and basic software packages
  • Ideally be RAMA qualified, or be willing to undergo the training
